Message 307

Yesterday I had coffee at Starbucks with Joan and Dave. Helen and Jim were out of town. In the afternoon I continued to read The Economist and watched the Sharks beat Dallas 5-2.

Julian came by with Beech and Annie after the game and we all went to Los Gatos to visit with Jason and Susan and the kids. We had dinner at the Live Oak Kitchen, after which Ellie came back to Menlo Park with us so Beech and Ellie could have a sleep over with me. We watched Spirit and the kids went to sleep. This morning they woke me up at 6:30 AM and we went to McDonalds for pancakes. When we discovered that they don't give toys with the breakfast meal I promised them we could stop by Target after we ate. As I am typing this Ellie just said to tell everyone that they have sure been having fun.
