Last night I went to dinner with the Morrills and the Arignos and went to see the movie The International. It is a thriller with bankers cast as the villains, which is what fits in with peoples current beliefs. Although its action sequences are good, the plot is too convoluted to follow easily, so I give it only three stars.
I met Helen for coffee this morning. Jim is playing in a golf tournament at Stanford. I have finished my weekly shopping at Safeway, and am now ready to settle down to read this week's Economist.
