Yesterday I watched the Sharks beat Phoenix 4-1. After the game I watched a DVD of the movie Scenes of the crime. It was a gangster movie thriller with Jeff Bridges in which everybody betrays every one else. I give it 3 stars. There is no Charlie Rose tonight, so I plan to turn in early. I feel like I am still improving.

I forgot to mention in yesterday’s message that I watched the Sharks’ game Thursday night. They lost to LA in an extended shootout 3-4. Also I realized I mead a mistake about the score of the previous game. They beat Calgary 6-3, not 5-3. Last night I watched a Netflix DVD of the movie The Contender. It another Jeff Bridges movie. It is about the shameful behavior of people in politics. I give it three stars. I have been home for a week now and have not thrown up since I got here. It is good to be home. Nisi, my weekend caregiver is here today.

Lily and I just got back from a trip to Safeway and Wells Fargo. I bought another week’s groceries and I picked up enough cash to put in the birthday Envelopes for the next few days for Melanie and Amelia, Jason, Vanessa, and Caroline. Vanessa just arrived for a visit, so I will sign off.

I had a fairly good night last night. I watched the Sharks beat Calgary 5-3. Lily is here and taking good care of me.

I am still improving. I have not thrown up since I left the nursing home last Saturday. Last night I watched a DVD of the movie Texasville. It was another Jeff Bridges movie bason on a book By Larry McMurtry. Like all of his books, it is bizarre in many ways, but it also reflects true human nature. I give it three stars.

I started to write this message this morning, but then I went with my caregiver Lily to get a haircut, after which I had lunch and took a nap. I had a better night’s sleep last night, and I feel a little better today. Last night I watched Les Mis on PBS, and then the news and Charlie Rose. This afternoon I will take a shower.

Julian has asked about the dates for our Sandbridge house this coming summer. We arrive on 9 July 2011 and leave on 16 July 2011. My sister Mary called me this morning from the Detroit airport. She was on her way home after spending a weekend with Kirsten. They drove to Cincinnati and back to visit friends. I got through the night OK, and Lily, my weekday care giver is here today, and I have finished Breakfast.
